Overview

At Amber Cars Northampton, we strive to provide excellent service. If you are not satisfied with your journey or there has been an error, we are committed to resolving the issue fairly and promptly.

When Refunds May Apply

You may be eligible for a full or partial refund in the following circumstances:

  • The driver failed to arrive for a pre-booked journey
  • You were significantly overcharged for your journey
  • The service provided was significantly below standard
  • You were charged twice for the same journey
  • Technical errors resulted in incorrect charges

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us within 48 hours of your journey:

Please provide the following information:

  • Your name and contact details
  • Date and time of the journey
  • Pickup and drop-off locations
  • Reason for the refund request
  • Any relevant booking reference numbers

Refund Processing

  • We aim to respond to all refund requests within 5 working days
  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 working days
  • Card payment refunds will be credited to the original payment method
  • Cash payment refunds may be provided via bank transfer or voucher

Cancellation Refunds

Airport Transfer Cancellations

For pre-paid airport transfers, the following policy applies:

  • Cancellations more than 48 hours before: Full refund
  • Cancellations 24-48 hours before: 75% refund
  • Cancellations less than 24 hours before: 50% refund
  • No-show: No refund

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not typically be provided in the following situations:

  • Delays due to traffic, weather, or road conditions
  • Journey completed as booked
  • Customer provided incorrect pickup location or time
  • Customer was not present at pickup location
  • Refund requested more than 14 days after journey

Disputes

If you are not satisfied with the outcome of your refund request, you may escalate your complaint to our management team. We are committed to resolving all disputes fairly and in accordance with consumer protection regulations.
